This is a collaborative effort shared by Katie Grainger, a junior, and Prashant Patel, a senior, at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The SALT Shaker, or the Spartanburg ALTernative E-Zine, is intended to be an alternative online publication made for and by Spartanburg college students (and recent alumni), allowing them the freedom to express themselves, to share their opinions, and to display their artwork.
The following institutions are affiliated with this project: Wofford College, USC Upstate, Converse College, Spartanburg Methodist College, and Spartanburg Community College.
By contributing to the Salt Shaker, students will have the ability to see their artistic work published on this website, and they can express their feelings regarding any topic, especially those which affect our community. We are encouraging different opinions in diverse forms of artistic expression including, but not limited to, the literary, visual, and musical arts.
